Movement Brokerage Privacy Policy

Summary

Movement Brokerage keeps all of your information on your own phone. We do not collect, receive, sell or share any of it.

Movement Brokerage is a mobile app published by Shimmel Operational Solutions LLC ("we", "us"). It reminds you to take short movement breaks during your workday and tracks your participation. This policy explains what the app stores, where it is kept, and the choices you have.

Information stored on your device

The app saves the following in a private database on your phone, so it can remind you and show your reports:

- Your work schedule: workdays, work hours, lunch break, reminder interval, and past versions of it. Why: to schedule reminders and calculate past participation correctly.

- Movements you record: activity, date, start time, end time, duration. Why: to show completed reminders and movement time.

- Days you mark as "I'm off today". Why: to leave those days out of participation.

- Your weekly wellness reflection answer (a 1–5 rating). Why: to show your answers in reports.

This information never leaves your device through the app. Only you can see it, by using the app on your phone.

Information we do not collect

- We do not receive or store any of your information on our servers. The app has no account, sign-in or cloud storage.

- The app contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking tools.

- The app does not access your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or health records.

- We do not sell, rent or share personal information with anyone, because we never receive it.

Phone permissions the app uses

- Notifications: to show your movement reminders and the weekly reflection reminder.

- Alarms & reminders (Android): to deliver reminders at the scheduled time instead of later.

- Run at startup (Android): to restore your scheduled reminders after the phone restarts.

You can turn these off at any time in your phone's settings. Reminders will then stop or may arrive late.

Backups, keeping and deleting your information

- How long it is kept: your information stays on your phone until you delete the app.

- Deleting it: uninstalling Movement Brokerage deletes all of its information from your phone. This cannot be undone, and we cannot recover it, because we never had a copy.

- Device backups: if you have turned on your phone's own backup (for example Google backup or iCloud), your phone may include the app's information in that backup. Those backups are controlled by you and your backup provider, not by us.

Children

Movement Brokerage is designed for working adults and is not directed at children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Health information

Movement Brokerage encourages short movement breaks. It is not a medical device and does not give medical advice, diagnoses or treatment. The weekly reflection is a personal check-in only, not a medical or mental health assessment. Ask your doctor before starting any new physical activity if you have a health condition.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date above. If a change affects what the app stores or shares, we will also explain it in an app update.
